- AHEC Meeting Time: One of the communication officers have a class until 9. Can we do this on Tuesdays or Wednesdays? It might be easier to have some of us do this on a rotation basis. Neha and Vishal are willing to do that. It is a little late to change the meeting time.
- 100 Day Challenge: We can make Ashdown-Health 2018. Second, how to make it work better and have people join? How are we going to track this? How is this different from MIT get fit? Can we get MIT get fit assets? You log in your exercise and it tracks how many minutes you do per week. With Fit Bit you can create communities. We can create a community for Ashdown. Maybe some people want intense exercise. Other than tracking, what else would be useful? Make it competitive like between floors. That is how get fit works. You create teams. Once people sign up, we ask how people would like challenges. MyFitnessPall has a nutrition section. We will think more. T-shirt is the end goal. About the T-shirt, we are going to have a contest for T-shirt design.
- Ashdown Casino Night: Happening this Sunday. In terms of planning we are doing fine. Food, publicity, people who are going to help, and ordering prizes. How to order tax free from Amazon? The most efficient route is to do it through the inventory officers. Email will be sent out with the poster.
- Cooking Demo: Not clear if demo comes to Ashdown or Ashdown residents have to go to the demo. Need to do some follow-ups. Not sure if we are interested in doing this. Do not know if we have any say on the menu for the demos.
- Grocery Store Survey: Pretty decent response. 256 responses. Have also spoken to SidPac. Five ideas. Bigger and more frequent shuttles (idea 1). But there is serious issue about Costco shuttle since the undergrads housing does not contribute even though the shuttle stops at the undergrad halls. There is no budget to increase the frequency. Meal Plans at Ashdown (a lot of interest-idea 2). It depends on where it would be. You pay some amount of money. How is even possible? The old Ashdown had a massive cafeteria. The meal plans are very expensive. Maybe a simpler meal plan. How popular such a service might be? It depends on the cost. We have a lot of suits and people donâ't cook much. What about the salad bar thing? A lot of people (undergrads) are using that. How many people do we need to make it work? Lean box (idea 3), it is a fridge kind of thing and people swipe and take. The Media Lab special refrigerator. Lean Box company does consultation. They handle all the logistics. We don't have to worry about logistics. SidPac was trying to run their own version. They had it running as a project by some business students. So here it is a possibility for officers to take charge of that. With Lean Box no need to figure out the details. Just the price point. And they have a good relation with MIT. City of Cambridge also will do food truck. There has been a vote about the location. Another option could be food at thirsty (idea 4). There was issues with the catering company. Then the later opening hours of the food items on campus. Pacific St Café (idea 5) was never popular with grad students. More popular with the construction workers. Could there be more interest in Pacific St. Café now with the closing of Star Market. Amazon Fresh could be an option. Housing is thinking about it.
- Open Floor

Meeting adjourned.
