AHEC meeting minutes

• Website: Sean Chang is going to take over the website and install a PHP CMS this semester -- a first step towards a functional website.
• Thermostats: are being fixed next week, supposedly. The problem is that a voltage regulator inside the thermostat is being used as a down-converter, heating up, and causing the thermostat to read a higher room temperature than actual. An email has gone out asking how many people have problems, but we don't expect that many people to repond even if they do (by now, most people have settled on a reasonable usage pattern, like turning the heat on and off manually).
• Food etiquette: a lot of MIT students take free food from events and don't participate. We have decided that it is impolite for students to take food and leave from events such as coffee hour: you can eat as much as you like, but only while you're in the room.
