Diwali is the largest festival in almost all regions of India. To celebrate it, we will be serving an assortment of Indian sweets, fruits, drinks, and other snacks. Additionally, we will use diyas (wick lamps) and play Indian music to enhance the mood, and may also give a short presentation on Diwali itself. We expect that this coffee hour will be a memorable experience for all MIT graduate students as they share in the fun of this cultural festival. The event is free and open to the entire MIT graduate community; we will advertise with flyers across campus.
